The SEURAT-1 cluster joins the research efforts of over 70 European universities, public research institutes and companies and collaborates with organisations in the US.
The participation of SMEs in the Research Initiative is high (more than 30%). This may be partly due to the nature of the Research Initiative and partly due to the simplified administrative procedures.
