Aiming to provide the public with a better understanding of its work and the dynamics of a cutting-edge research project, the NOTOX consortium has produced a film. Over several months a film team captured voices and pictures of NOTOX scientists in various settings and on different occasions: during project meetings or at daily work. The result is a vivid glance behind the scenes of the project that provides exciting insights into the challenges of developing validated alternative testing methods. It shows which efforts are made by the European Commission and the whole consortium to find safe solutions to replace animal testing for safety assessment of cosmetic and hygienic products. The NOTOX film is now available on the project website: http://www.notox-sb.eu/film

Responsible for the concept and implementation of the film was the NOTOX partner Eurice (in charge of communication activities in the project) in cooperation with the film production company Sichtzeit GmbH.
